Furthermore, the module goes deeper into the presentation of projects and work results, as well as self-presentation and application techniques.

The module provides an essential basis for higher financial mathematics and empirical research methods in economics, social sciences and engineering.
In this module, more complex programme designs and their methods and terms, such as flow charts, pseudo code representation, modularisation, formalisation of tasks, are taught and trained. An essential aspect is the analysis and synthesis of algorithms, their representation and validation, such as complexity estimations. Practical examples are used to train the specification, creation, validation and documentation of application programmes with user interfaces in a common programming language.
The module teaches the basics of business accounting (financial accounting, bookkeeping, closing accounts, annual financial statements, profit and loss statements, key figures for balance sheet analysis). In addition, there is an introduction to corporate taxation and an overview of the German tax system.
