Master's students support research work as part of ReTraNetz-BB

On November 29, 2024, a poster presentation marked the conclusion of an exciting semester for students of the master study course International technology Transfer Management in their 3rd semester of the course Automotive Technology and Business II.

Over the past few weeks, the students worked in four groups on a task provided by our project partner Cradle to Cradle from Berlin. Their challenge was to develop innovative and sustainable mobility solutions for a supermarket of the future, designed according to circular economy principles (Loop Market Haimhausen). Both the transportation of people and the delivery of goods were considered. Attention was particularly paid to micromobility, specifically the use of electrically powered micro-vehicles such as e-pedelecs and e-cargobikes.

This project is part of a series of courses led by Prof. Uwe Kaschka, supported by the ReTraNetz-BB team, and conducted according to the pedagogical principles of Problem-Based-Learning (PBL) in collaboration with industrial partners. This format poses special challenges for all participants. In the end, the students in particular benefit as they gain realistic insights into project work and the requirements of the business world.
