Bachelor
(Bachelor of Arts)

Over recent year, the healthcare industry has developed into the largest employer in Germany. It is forecast that, by 2030, up to 400,000 new jobs will be created in this sector, many of which will be in the private healthcare market. Whereas the focus was previously on medical diagnosis and treatment, today it is economic-related and legal factors that have to be managed on a daily basis in the healthcare industry.
This internationally recognised university degree combined well-founded knowledge with professional and practical experience. This combination will qualify you, in particular, for high-grade positions such as in the management of hospitals and medical centres, rehabilitation clinics and nursing institutions.
The successful completion of Business Studies specialising in Health Management entitles our students to bear the title Bachelor of Arts (B.A.).

Prospects following studies

This business and economics study programme will in effect give our students a doubly good opportunity for career entry and advancement.
This is because those who successfully complete the course are not merely business graduates but also management specialists in a growth sector. The healthcare industry in this case.

The course perfectly equips students to successfully operate in the management of business-focused undertakings and institutions - especially within the various areas of the healthcare industry. This includes, as examples, leadership roles in the business and administrative areas of spa and wellness facilities or therapy centres across to nursing institutions. Other conceivable roles include commercial managers in hospitals, divisional heads of health insurance funds or section managers of confederations or municipal institutions. Our graduates can also gear themselves towards challenging roles in company-based functional areas, such as HR management, or workplace health management, marketing, research and development, financing and controlling or in quality management.
