News from the Science Lab: Bio 3D Printer and AI Corner at bbw University of Applied Sciences

An exciting new project has been realized in the Science Lab at bbw University of Applied Sciences: a fully functional bio 3D printer has been built - and what makes it special? The components were manufactured right here at our university!

The project is based on an initiative by the renowned Stanford University as part of the Printess Project. Our printer is not only featured in the gallery on the official project website - bbw University of Applied Sciences is also listed there among the participating institutions, alongside top international universities like ETH Zurich: https://printess.org/locations/

This placement shows: Our university is part of a global network for cutting-edge research and development in the field of bioprinting.

But that's not all - as part of the ongoing development of our Science Lab, we've also introduced a brand-new "AI Corner"! At four interactive stations, students can explore how artificial intelligence works, what happens inside a neural network - and what opportunities AI offers for studies, research, and careers.
