HR Business Partner Further Training in New Format at the bbw University of Applied Science in Berlin

The bbw University of Applied Science launched in February 2017 with a new academic further training format, the Executive Format. Here,cooperation with the university’s renowned economic partners are used to offer managers in the region high-quality further training. Exclusive practical expertise is thus offered with an academic background , which is certified and for which ECTS Credit Points can be gained, which can be credited against suitable courses at any university nationwide.

The first office in the Executive Format at the bbw University of Applied Science is the part-time training as HR Business Partner, which is offered jointly with the Institute for Leadership Dynamics Europe (ILD) in Berlin. The ILD is a renowned consultancy institute, which develops excellent solutions for managers and team based on international top management experience and the exclusive 4Cs of Leadership™ (Conflict, Communication, Change and Coaching) .

The part-time training to be an HR Business Partner has a USP on the market. Above all, it is:

  • related to roles and organisational phases,
  • highly practice- and tool-oriented,
  • with integrated profiling,
  • also comprises current academic developments,
  • is conducted by internationally experienced HR business partners, conducted jointly with business managers and
  • can be concluded with a certificate from the bbw University of Applied Science and ILD and six Credit Points.

The training is aimed at ambitious managers from personnel and other areas of business . The aim is to improve their management quality and to make them fit to be able to master future tasks at the side of the top management. During training to be an HR Business Partner, personnel and HR professionals, following individual profiling from practitioners and depending on the company situations and specific requirement, learn to take on the role of a coach or advisor, an organisational developer, a strategic architect on a level with the business/top management and perform this role as a professional partner.

The qualification comprises six modules. The participants learn from HR managers, who themselves have been active themselves in the role of an HR Business Partner for many years in international top management. On the basis of this experience, they put the focus on role- and company phase-related skill development and teach current HR methods, techniques and tools. It is not just a matter of learning and training new key skills , , it is also aboutconscious stances and behaviour , which is simulated in protected rooms appropriately with external managers from industry. In addition, in the joint work, an interdisciplinary exchange will be initiated. The next generation of managers and even experiences managers from business with an interest in HR issues are taught special expertise that is not taught in the traditional universities.
