Appointment Certificate Awarded to New Chancellor of bbw Hochschule, Moritz Müller

The new Chancellor of bbw University of Applied Sciences, Moritz Müller, was formally introduced to his role on November 13, 2024. He has been leading the administration and overseeing the budget of the educational institution since the beginning of November.

Previously, the 25-year-old, who has been a member of the Academic Senate since 2023, worked in the university administration, planning management, and most recently as the administrative manager alongside the former Chancellor, Dr. Stefan Romberg. He now received his appointment certificate from Christian Amsinck, Chairman of the University's Board of Trustees.

"I wish you much success and a steady hand in implementing the challenging tasks that your chancellorship will bring. You have already shown in your previous roles at our university that you are well-equipped for this. Therefore, we are confident that, in collaboration with President Prof. Dr.-Ing. Robert Dust and the new Vice Presidents, you will set the course for a positive future for our university," said Christian Amsinck.

The new Chancellor assured that it was a great honor and an important responsibility for him to engage in the long-term and sustainable development of the university. "I would also like to thank you for the trust you have placed in me," said Moritz Müller. He is very much looking forward to constructive collaboration with his colleagues and the University Board of Trustees.

Christian Amsinck took this opportunity to acknowledge the significant contributions of Dr. Stefan Romberg and thank him for his tireless dedication to the interests of bbw University of Applied Sciences during his time as Chancellor.
