bbw Poster Competition 2023: Ten Prizes Awarded to the Best

To strengthen the connection between research and teaching at bbw University of Applied Sciences, the fib Research Institute, under the leadership of the Vice President for Research, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Thomas Zahn, launched a poster competition four years ago. Since then, graduates from all master's and bachelor's programs have been able to submit their theses as posters and hope to win a prize. This wish has now been fulfilled for ten of the 24 participants in the 2023 competition.

During a festive award ceremony on March 1st, the winners received their awards at bbw University in Berlin-Adlershof. As recognition for their scientific achievements, each prizewinner received a voucher worth 200 euros.

As winners, they are also entitled to submit their award-winning posters, together with their supervisors, to a scientific conference. If accepted, they will receive a special bonus: the fib Research Institute will cover both the participation fees and travel expenses related to the conference.

The awarded posters can now be admired as inspiration and documentation of current research in the "bbw Science Exhibition," which changes annually and is located on the ground floor of bbw University of Applied Sciences. A publication of the posters will also appear in the bbw Research Report for 2022/2023.

The next poster competition is already underway: students who would like to participate can submit their applications via email to fib@bbw-hochschule.de until the end of October 2024. It's worth it, as the next prizes are already waiting!
