The bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences is the economic university for the economy in Berlin and Brandenburg. Under the guidance of the bbw Bildungswerk der Wirtschaft in Berlin und Brandenburg e.V. and the supporting Unternehmensverbände in Berlin und Brandenburg (UVB), it trains academic specialists and managers in business-related degree programmes with a practical orientation. This is the basic idea behind the university's mission statement.
