As a University of Applied Sciences, our University designs its courses to ensure graduates enter the workforce with the skills and knowledge required by modern industry. Our English-language Bachelor courses are focused on the Engineering Sciences and require seven semesters of tuition. Upon graduation, students then have the option of specialising their studies as part a two-year Master's programme. Here the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences focusses on developing managerial skills so that graduates may begin their careers with both the scientific fundamentals and executive abilities they will need to succeed in the international labour market.

I am Ana Gabriela, from Brazil. At the moment I am studying for the M.Sc International Technology Transfer Management degree. Through the International Process Simulation Championship held at the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences, I was awarded an internship in one of the partner companies of the event. It was an intense but productive two-day training on Flexsim Software and a challenging final-day competition among the students. I began a internship at the Berlin-based railway consulting company Nextrail. The company offers a technical consultancy service for the entire life cycle of railway systems and it has been an amazing opportunity to learn more about the field, the European Transportation Control System ETCS, and contemporary projects, i.e. SmartRail 4.0. The team is wonderful, skilled and has been receptive from day one. It has been a pleasure taking part of the organisation and I am very grateful to the University for the reward.
