Campus Deutschlandstipendium
The Deutschlandstipendium has been introduced by the Federal Government in 2011. Students and sponsors can equally benefit from this. The grant which is not dependent on income amounts to 300 Euro a month - 150 Euro are provided by private sponsors such as companies, foundations, associations or private individuals. The remainder of the 150 Euro is paid by the Federal Government.
Deutschlandstipendium at bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences
Grants provide students with some financial freedom, which allows them to focus more on their degree course. The sponsors on the other hand meet future specialists and executives early on, ensure thus a competitive advantage and also provide a service to society. The award of the Deutschlandstipendium does not only require outstanding performance in the degree course or in school, but also a social and socio-political commitment. People who had to purposefully overcome obstacles in their life are also in with a chance. The grant is normally given for at least a year, does not depend on income and will not be applied to the BAföG. Eligible for support are in addition to undergraduates also those who are undertaking a second degree or supplementary studies as well as master degree courses.

How you can become a sponsor
One half of the scholarship is paid by you as a private sponsor and the other half by the federal government. This means that you and the federal government can provide at least 150 and an additional 150 respectively to relieve the financial burden on high-performing and socially committed students at bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences of at least 300 per month. All students at bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences are eligible for funding. You can sponsor students of a subject or course of study of your choice. When awarding scholarships, outstanding achievements, social and community involvement and overcoming particular hurdles in the educational biography are important. A written grant agreement is required to accept a scholarship, which must be sent to bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.
