Would you like to collect practical experience on the job market, improve your foreign language skills and make interesting contacts abroad at the same time?
In that case an internship is just the right thing for you!
Internships enable you to collect academic and specialist experience in everyday working life, to do some "networking" and to make important company contacts for a later career start. You can extend your foreign language skills and increase your useful specialist vocabulary. At the same time you can get to know the people and the cultural characteristics of the host country.
Students can take part in internships in companies or organisations in other European countries with Erasmus. Periods abroad are funded in all countries participating in the program.

A longer stay abroad has always been a big dream of mine. So when the unique opportunity was offered to me, I seized it with both hands. Who would say no to complete one part of the Double Degree master programme "Strategic management in Logistics" at the HSE in Moscow with the help of an extensive scholarship? Definitely not me.

ERASMUS+ internship
Rights and obligations:
Please refer to the ERASMUS Student Charter for your rights and obligations as an ERASMUS student.
The ERASMUS program for practical courses abroad offers you the following benefits:
- EC internship contract between University, company and student
- academic recognition of internship
- mentoring during internship with one contact at the home university and one in the company
- funding of extra costs abroad
- support during preparation
- special grants for students with handicaps
Requirements for an Erasmus internship
- regular matriculation at the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences
- inspected internship contract by the Career Service at the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences
- internships in European institutions or organizations, national diplomatic representations or organisations which administer EC programs do not qualify for funding
First of all, students should make an informal application by email at the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences International Office before starting their internship.
Erasmus students at the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences should carry out the following formalities before starting their Erasmus studies:
Before mobility:
- Submission of the Original Grant Agreement
- Erasmus Learning Agreement for Traineeships
- Insurance Form
It is necessary to ensure that students have sufficient health insurance. Apart from this, you require accident and third-party insurance for the duration of your internship. - Participation in an obligatory language test
After mobility:
- Submission of the Traineeship Certificates "After the mobility" (last section of the Learning Agreements) signed by the company - as an alternative, an employer's certificate can also be submitted
- Submission of a report using the Mobility Tool Plus (participants automatically receive an email containing the link to the online form)
- Participation in the second part of the language test
Erasmus+ is intended to promote equal opportunities and inclusion, and for this reason students with disadvantaged backgrounds and with special requirements will have access to the program made easier.
