Bachelor
(Bachelor of Engineering)

Electromechanic systems are nowadays used industry-wide in almost every technical product. This mechatronics degree therefore brings together the technical core disciplines of Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology and Information Technology, as well as covering the basic principles of project management.

This "Bachelor of Engineering" degree qualifies our students for demanding roles through the combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. This includes, for example, the development and construction of mechatronic systems, the commissioning of complex systems, assembly and automation technology, the implementation of automation solutions and also Quality Assurance. The examination to gain the qualification as an Engineer may be taken after only six to eight semesters. Various companies offer sponsorship through the degree course, thus boosting their own supply of young skilled personnel.

The concept of this course of study has been developed in consultation with and evaluated by the Verband der Metall- und Elektroindustrie in Berlin und Brandenburg (vme).
