bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences participates in the EU Erasmus+ programme that supports the mobility of students and academic staff around the world. By paying accommodation and transport costs, Eramus+ helps allow selected students who have demonstrated excellent academic endeavor to study at other universities as part of an exchange semester, or for students at partnering institutes to study at our campus in Berlin. High achieving students may also be awarded scholarships that support them while taking an internship at partnering companies in the EU or, in some cases, non-EU countries.
To apply for a scholarship, you will need the following documents:
I am Pranav, a student of International Technology Management at the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences. In December 2018, I along with three other students participated for the International Process Simulation Challenge held at the University. Everyone gave their best and that made the competition very challenging to win. But after three days of continuous hard work, we turned out to be the winners. A couple of months after the competition I applied for and was offered an internship at Toyota Motor Europe NV/SA, Brussels. The subject matter of ITTM was decisive in helping me get the internship but I would also give much credit to the Career Services department at the University for supporting me in getting this position, as without their help it wouldn't have been possible. Especially Frau Nina Karth, as she was always there to support if any help needed for the internship. My position as an intern in the Manufacturing Cost & Productivity Management division involves analysing and evaluating productivity status, learning and understanding Toyota's Production Systems as well as visualizing Toyota European Manufacturing Company's status to detect main problems. Finally, by getting an internship in another EU country made me eligible to receive the Erasmus+ EU internship scholarship. For this I give my thanks to all the faculty members who guided me in my career and supported me in receiving this scholarship.
