The bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences perceives itself to be a university of business for business. As the largest private university of applied sciences in the State of Berlin, we offer internationally accredited bachelor and master degrees arranged either as part-time courses, or as full-time study courses with integrated practical phases.

As a still youthful and fast growing institution, the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences expects its teaching staff to be demonstrate a willingness to actively shape and develop the institution. Alongside a customer-focus and the assurance of quality, the other basic prerequisites for professors at the University are the development of new study programmes and shaping the existing ones, together with commitment to ongoing research projects. The main focus of the University's administrative staff, apart from fundamental quality considerations, is on the provision of advice and support to the students. Willingness to participate in the work of the University's executive committees, such as the Academic Senate (with appointments and examinations committee) is another prerequisite.
