On Saturday, 15 June 2019, the bbw University of Applied Sciences opened its doors to visitors from all over Germany for the second time this year in order to present itself and its diverse range of courses. As usual, students and their professors presented the study programmes between 10 a.m. and 15 p.m.
There was a lot to see. For example, the students of Tourism and Event Management transformed their presentation room into an airplane and looked after the interested parties as their personal stewardesses. Media Management presented self-made, small image films about the study courses and the part-time electrical engineers presented an eMobile built as part of their studies.
Despite best weather, with much sunshine and 35 degrees, many prospective students found the way to us, in order to inform themselves intensively about the possibilities of a Bachelor or a Master study at the bbw university. In addition to the professors and students, our colleagues from the student advisory service welcomed prospective students to individual discussions about curricula, financing options or internships, right up to career entry opportunities after graduation. If necessary the university coworkers accompanied the prospective students also by the university up to the roof terrace. As always, snacks and drinks were available on the roof terrace. To cool down in the high temperatures, there was a small pool and ice cream.
