11th Conference of the Working Group Optics and Optronics of DWT e.V.
From 26 to 28 September, the Working Group Optics and Optonics of the DWT e. V. held its 11th conference in the Berlin Haus der Wirtschaft. For this purpose, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Cornelius Hahlweg, Professor of Electrical Engineering at the bbw University of Applied Sciences and head of the working group, organised an informative lecture programme on the classic topics.
The focus of the three-day events was, among other things, on the question of recruiting young talent as well as on interdisciplinary approaches and methods in optics and optronics. These and other topics were discussed in depth during the lectures, but also during the coffee breaks and especially at the joint evening event. Representatives from research, industry, politics and society were present.
The aim of the event was to offer participants a platform for exchanging information about research and development and to invite discussion of controversial issues.
