ReTraNetz-BB - Online Workshop "Digital Transformation"

In the transformation process, potential is seen at the interface between the automotive industry and the digital economy. An initial needs analysis of the companies in the region within the framework of the ReTraNetz-BB was able to confirm this. Building on this, an online workshop "Digital Transformation" was held on 5th July 2023 with 35 participants, in which these needs were further specified. The workshop was organised by the project partner bbw/VME in close cooperation with SIBB e.V..

After a short introduction by Prof. Uwe Kaschka, Dr Rico Schady from SIBB e.V. took over the moderation. With the help of the Miro Board technique, concrete needs of the workshop participants were systematically and interactively recorded. It became apparent that in addition to digital processes and digital business models, the cultural-organisational aspects of a transformation must also be taken into account. Interest in some specific topics was also identified, such as data exchange with suppliers, employee scheduling or automated, AI-supported processes. Furthermore, obstacles and challenges in the implementation of digitalisation solutions were recorded.

The results of the workshop will be verified in further bilateral company discussions and used for the content planning of workshops that will start in the 2nd half of 2023.
