Just in time for the summer semester, bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences welcomes a new professor. In her teaching and consulting activities, Prof. Dr. Astrid Otto is particularly concerned with strategic communication management, digital communication, crisis communication and media ethics.

Prof. Dr. Astrid Otto was a university lecturer and research assistant at the FU Berlin for more than ten years. She worked as a research assistant at the Institute for Journalism and Communication Science at the FU Berlin.

While Prof. Dr. Astrid Otto has been advising IT companies, start-ups as well as companies in the media and healthcare sector as a communications expert since 2000, she has also been a freelance lecturer at the ISM University in Berlin for three years.

At bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences, Prof. Dr. Astrid Otto is a member of the Economics Department and focuses on media management and business communication.
