Open Campus Day at bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences

On Saturday, 15 February 2020, the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences opened its doors for the first time this year to visitors from all over Germany to present itself and its Bachelor's and Master's programmes. Traditionally, students and their professors presented their courses of study between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m.

There were also the one or other highlight to marvel at ... For example, the students of the dual course Electrical Engineering with specialisation in Catenary and Railway Power Supply had built a model railway in the entrance area of the bbw University of Applied Sciences. The students of the Mechanical Engineering with Mechatronics and Electrical Engineering courses presented a beverage mixer and an electro-cart. The students of Media and Event Management also came up with something very special. They gained insights into their last project work, which included a video shoot to a music clip by a german artist.

On Saturday, many interested parties take the opportunity to find out about a bachelor's or master's degree programme at the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences and get a first impression of the university. In addition to the professors and students, Chancellor Heide Traemann as well as the Director of Studies Prof. Dr. Thoralf Buller welcomed the visitors. The colleagues from the student advisory service also invited our prospective students to individual discussions in order to inform themselves about study plans, financing possibilities or internships at the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences. Last but not least, the visitors could end the day as usual with snacks and drinks on the roof terrace of the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences.
