First Open Campus Day at the new campus in Adlershof

On Saturday the 26 th of August the bbw University of Applied Sciences opened the first time its doors at the new location in Berlin-Adlershof. From 10 am to 2 pm students and their professors as well as university staff presented the new campus and the diverse range of study courses.

The Open Campus Day started with a welcoming speech by the Chancellor Mrs. Schwill and the Rector Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hafer. Afterwards, visitors were given the opportunity to be part of a real lecture. During exciting impulse lectures on the degree programmes Real Estate Management, Media and Event Management, Corporate Communications and Digital Business and eCommerce, visitors were able to address their questions to the professors and students. In addition to the lectures and presentations, the Registrar's Office welcomed the visitors for individual discussions about study plans, financing options and internships, as well as career opportunities after graduation. In addition, hourly campus tours took place, providing insights into the facilities and equipment of the new campus.

A total of 58 visitors from Berlin and Brandenburg took advantage of the opportunity to get information and advice on site at the university. The visitors particularly praised the friendliness of all participants, the comprehensive, competent advice and the modern facilities of the new campus. Those who were convinced by the concept of the bbw University of Applied Sciences left their application forms directly or reserved a place on their chosen course of study.
