Matriculation Ceremony for International Students

The ceremonial opening of the winter semester for the international first-year students took place on Wednesday, 4 October 2023. A total of 66 international students from eight different countries have enrolled at the bbw University of Applied Sciences.

At the beginning of the semester, the new students were warmly welcomed by Prof. Gebhard Hafer, Rector of the bbw Hochschule, Ursula Schwill, Chancellor of the University, and members of the University's administration. For the students of the Master's programmes International Technology Transfer Management and Strategic Management in Logistics, studying at the bbw University of Applied Sciences marks the beginning of a new phase in their lives.

The Chancellor welcomed the new students and presented the bbw University of Applied Sciences. Rector Hafer thanked the students for their decision to study at the bbw and explained that studying means striving for something new, but also requires commitment and self-organisation. Scientific work in particular requires diligence and a holistic approach to problems. The professors and staff emphasised that they are always there to support the students.
