Immatrikulationsveranstaltung Wintersemester 2021/22

On Tuesday 5th October 2021 the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences welcomed the students of the German-language Bachelor's and Master's degree courses who were newly immatriculated for the winter semester 2021/22. For the second time the event have been held in hybrid form, so that the new students could take part both in person at the Haus der Wirtschaft and online from home.

The university management as well as the professors and staff of the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences were pleased to welcome the students for the winter semester 2021/2022 in person. The event began with the immatriculation of the Bachelor's degree courses in Fashion Management, Corporate Communication, Health Management and Media and Event Management. Due to the hybrid offer students were also able to follow the event from home. Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gebhard Hafer opened the immatriculation event with a speech. This was followed by a short welcoming speech by Dr. Sascha J. Flemnitz, Managing Director of the bbw Group. Followed by an impulse speech by Prof. Oliver MacConnell, Professor of Fashion Management, as a little motivation for the study starters. His tips to the students: Have the courage to dare something; be patient enough to follow through with ideas and have enough humility to accept help when things don't go as planned.

In the second round the students of the national Bachelor's degree courses in Real Estate Management full-time and part-time, and those of the Master's degree course in Real Estate Project Management were then immatriculated and welcomed ceremoniously. After the opening speech by Prof. Dr.-Ing. Gebhard Hafer Prof. Dr. Anne Sanftenberg, Professor of Real Estate Management, continued with a keynote speech about her degree course and the planned content.

The bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences extends a warm welcome to all new students and wishes them an instructive and successful studies. Thanks to hybrid teaching we are finally able to welcome students in person to the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences. Tomorrow the international Bachelor's and Master's degree courses will be immatriculated. Until then stay healthy!
