Vienna Excursion of the Master's Programme Real Estate Project Management

Exkursion Wien Real Estate Project Management 2021

Prof. Lucht travelled to Vienna for a week with the second semester students of his Master's degree programme in Real Estate Project Management, after this was unfortunately not possible last year due to the pandemic. Corvin Tolle, managing partner of Tolle Immobilien, accompanied and supported the group on their excursions. They visited the Vienna Housing Fund and the headquarters of CA Immo, Buwog and Signa. Furthermore, a trip was made to the PropTech start-up iDWELL. The highlight was the visit to the 202m high "Millennium Tower" of Art-Invest. Through the exciting excursions, the students were able to gain a deep insight into the Viennese real estate market, but also into the commitment of the companies in Germany, especially in Berlin.

It is not for nothing that Vienna has been named the most liveable city in the world ten times in a row in surveys by the management consultancy Mercer. So in addition to the educational excursions, they also explored the city and had a delicious meal. They fortified themselves in the "Schweizerhaus" beer garden and then tried out the rides in the Prater. But also the Wiener Schnitzel at the "Heurigen" was not to be missed. A small treat from the "K.u.K.. Hofzuckerbäcker Demel" had to be dispensed with due to the long queue. It seems that Vienna's tourism industry is also on the upswing again.
