On 20th April 2018, the bbw University of Applied Sciences celebrated its graduates solemnly in the Estrel Hotel. 67 graduates, including economists from all specialisations offered at the bbw University, graduates in business communications, industrial engineering and engineering, were gladly looking forward to the moment of passing on the testimony together with their families and friends.

The event started with the entry of the graduates, led by the rector of the bbw University, Prof. Dr.-Ing Gebhard Hafer and the study director, Prof. Dr. Ing. Alexander Bulow. Prof. Hafer opened the graduation ceremony of the bbw University with warm words to the audience. Heide Traemann, Chancellor of the bbw University, who guided our graduates, guests, professors and employees through the event, announced the keynote speaker Oliver Dunk with caring words. With exciting stories from life, Oliver Dunk, managing director of the Dunk Media Group and radio B2, managed to attract the attention of the audience in a humorous and sympathetic way and to took away the fear of the future from our graduates. A highlight of the event were musical deposits of the Angel Strings.

The graduates of each degree programme were individually called to the stage, received their bachelor certificates and reports and were duly celebrated by their families and guests. Applause and emotions constantly filled the ballroom.

At the end of the official event, of course, there was the traditional hat throw - this time even in the most beautiful sunshine. Afterwards, the graduates toast with a glass of sparkling wine together with their families and friends and celebrated their success. With many nice memories, it was then time for our graduates to start into the future and meet new challenges.
