Certificate Course Fashion Management with Prof. Oliver MacConnell at PLATTE

At the beginning of October PLATTE.Berlin, in cooperation with the Institute for Academic Continuing Education of the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences, organised a certificate course in fashion management. The event was organised and conducted by Prof. Oliver MacConnell, Professor of Fashion Management.

The topic of the course: The chargeable planning of a statement collection. It dealt with the aspects of design, sourcing, production and co., and more specifically which entrepreneurial and business management approaches exist to support creative handwriting in design collections. The participants of the course were asked in advance to bring a collection that they enjoy and feel connected to. The course started at 9 a.m. with a lecture on the topic current market influencing factors and the reflection of one's own creative handwriting. The afternoon continued with an examination of individual creative signatures. Afterwards principles of calculation were discussed.
