Course of Study
The Master's programme in economics and business management with the focus on "International Business Management" comprises a four-semester course. The programme trains academics who are able to apply their problem-solving skills in new, unfamiliar situations that have a broader or multidisciplinary connection with their field of study. Graduates are able to carry out application-oriented projects largely independently.
The course contents and forms of events serve the purpose of imparting skills for identifying practical problems and their pragmatic solution. In addition to sound specialist knowledge and the knowledge of different scientific teaching opinions, graduates acquire advanced knowledge of scientific working methods.
In all four semesters of the master's programme, interdisciplinary economic competences are taught. In the second and third semesters, the students acquire an in-depth profile in International Business Management. The specialisation enables students to extend the specialisation achieved in the bachelor's programme and to open up other areas of interest. To achieve this goal, the focus is on the examination of scientific research approaches and the acquisition of extended management skills.
