berufsbegleitende Immatrikulation WS 18/19
Immatrikulation der neuen berufsbegleitend Studierenden

Ceremonial matriculation of new part-time students for the winter semester 2018/19 at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Berlin

As every year, the part-time students start with us first. On 17 September 2018, in the current winter semester 2018/19, we welcomed at least some of the applicants for three courses at the Haus der Wirtschaft in Berlin and enrolled them in their courses at the bbw university. They were received by the Chancellor and her future anchor professors, who will accompany them particularly intensively during their studies. Of course there were for all congratulations to the decision to begin straight now a study - in a time of the economic upheaval, which opens enormous organization possibilities in all industries for future high-level personnel. In each case all study starters bring along good conditions for it - all have already completed vocational training and at least three years practical experience and are highly motivated. On the one hand they study for the coming eight terms now in the evening and occasionally on weekend for their Bachelor conclusion in economics with the specialization real estate management or health management and/or in engineering sciences with the specialization electrical engineering. But most of them are also interested in personal development and career advancement. Everyone has a plan for this.

Alexander R. wants to position himself even better professionally after graduating from high school and training as a real estate agent and avoid "mental idleness" for the next few years. Janett Witthaus takes the daily train journey from Frankfurt (Oder) to Berlin and back on herself, in order to take on more responsibility as a laboratory manager after her engineering studies after completing her training as an industrial electronics technician and a complete retraining with her second vocational qualification as an IT specialist and several years of professional experience in the production of printed circuit boards at the IHP in Frankfurt (Oder). Alexandra A. hopes that her studies will offer her better prospects than her previous job as MFA in an ENT practice. Jenny Jähne is also interested in health management and, with her experience from a not too large orthodontic practice, might want to switch to the management of a dental clinic or health insurance company after her studies.

They all share the expectation of a great study period with increased knowledge, new contacts and perspectives and, of course, new career opportunities. In order to make all this come true, the entire university team and the doors of the professors and other teaching staff are open to them. Chancellor Heide Traemann had it right at the beginning in all briefly approximately so formulated: We are pleased that you are there... Study to learn. Marvel, use your mind! We will support you as much as we can." With this in mind, a warm welcome to all new part-time students at bbw University!
