About us The bbw Group
The bbw Group is the stable base of the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences. Since its foundation, the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences has been supported by the largest company in the bbw Group, the bbw Akademie für Betriebswirtschaftliche Weiterbildung GmbH.
The bbw Group, which, in addition to the bbw Akademie, consists of three further independent non-profit companies under the umbrella of the bbw Bildungswerk der Wirtschaft in Berlin und Brandenburg, is part of an extensive national and international network of partner companies, associations and institutions from numerous business sectors, culture and science. The bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences also draws upon this network.
The bbw has been a professional education partner for companies in the region for over 45 years, offering comprehensive education and advice opportunities. At the same time, the bbw Group assists public sector customers, supporting their active labour market policies with innovative concepts for professional training at all levels - from professional guidance and preparation to introductory courses, further training and advanced classes to retraining.
Structure
The bbw Bildungswerk der Wirtschaft in Berlin und Brandenburg (short form: bbw Group) consists of four independent and non-profit companies. The bbw Akademie für Betriebswirtschaftliche Weiterbildung GmbH is a supporter of the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences. The bbw Group has 37 locations in Berlin and Brandenburg and seven in China (status: 12/2016)
