The first real estate alumni network meeting of the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences took place in the house of economics on the 25 th of janaury.

On the 25th of January the first real estate alumni network meeting of the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciencestook place in the house of economics. The event was under the motto " Meet again, Networking, career planning, good talks " and was launched by Prof. Dietmar Lucht, program director of real estate programs.

All graduates and currently students of the bachelor degree programmes Real Estate Management and the master degree programme Real Estate Project Management, entrepreneurs of the real estate industry as well as professors and lecturers of the university were invited. The highlight of the event was the two invited keynote speakers from the industry and, of course, the subsequent networking event with drinks and snacks sponsored by DAVE .

Keynote speaker Rüdiger Thräne , Branch Manager Berlin of Jones Lang LaSalle, spoke about the chances and risks of the real estate industry in Berlin and gave an up-to-date overview of the industry. Peter Schürer, Managing Director of the German Real Estate Association (DAVE), gave exciting insights into the performance culture of the real estate industry and was particularly concerned with the proper cooperation in everyday business life.

The event was great for all participants. So currently students had the chance to talk to graduates, make contacts and networking. At the end of 2018 another real estate network meeting is planned. The goal is to build an ever-larger community and to always be in close contact and exchange on current topics.
