The campaign landing page is operated by VF Interactive, Kochi, Kerala, India (Registration No. UDYAM-KL-02-0010792) as the authorised campaign partner of bbw Hochschule. VF Interactive acts as a data processor on behalf of bbw Hochschule under a formal campaign engagement agreement.

3. Legal Basis for Processing

The processing of your personal data is based on your freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

You provide consent by ticking the consent checkbox on the enquiry form before submitting your details. The checkbox is not pre-ticked and submission is not possible without your consent.

You may withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal. See Section 7 for how to exercise this right.

4. Personal Data Collected and Purposes of Processing

4.1 Data collected

When you submit the course enquiry form on the campaign landing page, the following personal data is collected:

• Full name
• Phone number (including WhatsApp, where applicable)
• Email address
• Preferred Master's programme
• Highest academic qualification
• Current city

4.2 Purposes of processing

Your personal data is collected and processed exclusively for the following purposes:

• Checking your eligibility for the preferred Master's programme at bbw Hochschule
• Providing you with information about programme content, entry requirements, and the direct admission process
• Guiding you through the application process, including APS certification requirements and documentation
• Directing you to official resources for visa and financial documentation requirements
• Scheduling and conducting admission consultations with bbw Hochschule's International Admissions team
• Following up on your enquiry as part of the October 2026 intake campaign

Your data will not be used for any purpose beyond the above without your explicit additional consent.

5. Recipients and Third-Party Processors

Your personal data may be accessed by the following parties in connection with processing your enquiry:

5.1 bbw Hochschule – University of Applied Sciences
As the data controller, bbw Hochschule's International Admissions team and Student Service Center will access your data to review your enquiry, conduct eligibility assessments, and carry out admission consultations.

5.2 VF Interactive (authorised campaign partner)
VF Interactive, Kochi, Kerala, India acts as an authorised data processor for the purposes of managing campaign enquiry data on behalf of bbw Hochschule. VF Interactive processes your data solely in accordance with bbw Hochschule's instructions and does not use your data for any independent commercial purpose.

5.3 Technology and advertising platforms
The campaign landing page uses the following third-party technology services which may process limited technical and behavioural data in connection with your visit:

• Google LLC (Google Ads, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics) – for campaign measurement and website analytics
• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd (Facebook Pixel) – for campaign measurement and advertising optimisation

These platforms are governed by their own data processing terms and privacy policies. bbw Hochschule and VF Interactive use these platforms in accordance with applicable GDPR requirements.

5.4 No sale or unauthorised sharing
Your personal data will not be sold, rented, or transferred to any third party outside of the above for commercial, marketing, or any other purpose.

6. International Data Transfers

Your enquiry data is submitted via a campaign landing page managed by VF Interactive in India and transferred to bbw Hochschule in Germany (European Union). Germany is subject to the GDPR, which provides a high standard of data protection.

Additionally, the technology platforms listed in Section 5.3 (Google and Meta) may transfer limited technical data to servers located in the United States. These transfers are carried out on the basis of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, or other appropriate safeguards as required under Chapter V of the GDPR.

India does not currently hold an EU adequacy decision. The transfer of your enquiry data from VF Interactive (India) to bbw Hochschule (Germany / EU) is governed by the campaign data processing agreement between the two parties, which incorporates appropriate safeguards consistent with GDPR requirements.

7. Data Retention

Your personal data will be retained for a maximum period of 12 months from the date of your enquiry submission, or until the conclusion of the October 2026 admissions cycle, whichever is earlier.

After this period, your data will be securely deleted unless:

• You have proceeded with a formal application to bbw Hochschule, in which case the university's standard student and applicant data retention policy will apply; or
• You have provided separate consent for retention beyond this period for a specified purpose.

If you withdraw your consent before the end of the retention period, your data will be deleted within a reasonable timeframe, subject to any legal obligations that may require retention.

8. Your Data Protection Rights

Under the GDPR, you have the following rights in relation to your personal data:

• Right of access (Art. 15): You have the right to request confirmation of whether your personal data is being processed and, if so, to receive a copy of the data held about you.
• Right to rectification (Art. 16): You have the right to request correction of any inaccurate or incomplete personal data held about you.
• Right to erasure (Art. 17): You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data where it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected, or where you have withdrawn consent.
• Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18): You have the right to request that the processing of your personal data be restricted in certain circumstances, for example while the accuracy of your data is being verified.
• Right to data portability (Art. 20): You have the right to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, and to transmit that data to another controller, where technically feasible.
• Right to object (Art. 21): You have the right to object to the processing of your personal data at any time.
• Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3)): You may withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

9. Right to Lodge a Complaint

If you believe that the processing of your personal data violates applicable data protection law, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority in the EU Member State of your habitual residence or place of work.

10. Age Requirement

This campaign is directed at prospective students who are at least 18 years of age. By ticking the consent checkbox and submitting the enquiry form, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

If you are under 18 years of age, please do not submit your personal data through this form. Instead, contact the bbw Hochschule Student Service Center directly, together with your parent or legal guardian, at the contact details provided in Section 8.

11. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The campaign landing page uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for the following purposes:

• Essential cookies: required for the basic functioning of the page and the enquiry form
• Analytics cookies: used to measure page performance and visitor behaviour (Google Analytics / Google Tag Manager)
• Advertising cookies: used to measure campaign performance and optimise ad delivery (Google Ads, Meta Pixel)

Non-essential cookies are only placed with your consent, which is obtained via the cookie consent banner displayed when you first visit the landing page. You may withdraw your cookie consent at any time by clicking the cookie settings option on the page.

12. Data Security

bbw Hochschule and VF Interactive take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data against unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. These measures are reviewed and updated regularly in line with current data protection and security standards.

All enquiry data collected through the campaign landing page is transmitted using secure encrypted connections (HTTPS).

13. Updates to These Terms

These Data Privacy & Consent Terms may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in applicable law, our data processing practices, or other relevant factors. The effective date at the top of this document will be updated accordingly.

We encourage you to review this document periodically. If you have already submitted an enquiry and material changes are made that affect the processing of your data, we will notify you by email where required by law.
