In our online-taught programme „Mechanical Engineering – Mechatronics“ you bring together mechanical, electrical and information technology fundamentals and develop a deep understanding of complex technical systems.

You learn how machines, plants and intelligent systems are developed, designed and optimised, and how innovative solutions emerge in production, automation and digitalisation.

With the Bachelor of Engineering you qualify for a wide range of tasks in industry, technology and development and lay the foundation for a career in one of the most important technical fields of the future.

The programme is divided into a foundation phase and a specialisation phase. Live online lectures (for example via WebEx or MS Teams), Moodle as well as assignments and project work make it possible to study from anywhere – typically on two evenings per week and two Saturdays per month alongside work.

Career & prospects

Graduates work in development, design, production and automation – at the interface of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and information technology. The flexible format is particularly well suited to working professionals throughout Germany.

Admission requirements

You are admitted with the general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife) or a relevant professional qualification. There is no numerus clausus.
