What is it about?
Shape the future of digital commerce and transform the way companies operate in a connected world. In the Bachelor’s programme „Digital Business and eCommerce“ you combine solid business fundamentals with in-depth knowledge of digital technologies, online business models and data-driven decision-making.
You learn how to design, manage and scale digital business models and e-commerce platforms, and you acquire the skills you need to succeed in a fast-moving, technology-driven economy. The programme prepares you to understand customer behaviour, optimise digital sales channels and develop innovative strategies for sustainable business growth. With a Bachelor of Arts, a wide range of career options opens up in fields such as e-commerce management, digital marketing, online retail, business development, UX-driven commerce and consulting for digital industries.

The programme is divided into a foundation phase and a career-oriented specialisation phase and puts the emphasis on digitalisation and globalisation. Two compulsory internships (in Germany or abroad) and a practice-oriented Bachelor’s thesis are part of the curriculum.

Career & prospects
Graduates qualify for demanding positions in marketing, e-commerce, controlling, purchasing and procurement as well as in retail logistics.
Admission requirements
You are admitted with the general higher education entrance qualification (Abitur), the entrance qualification for universities of applied sciences (Fachhochschulreife) or a relevant professional qualification. There is no numerus clausus.
