Conflict Coach

When people work together, friction arises. However, constructive conflict behaviour and the management of emotions are still underestimated key competencies in cooperation and leadership. Competently managed, conflicts become a valuable innovation resource: up to 90 percent of all conflicts can be resolved faster and with less friction. In cooperation with the Institute for Leadership Dynamics, we now offer the certified training as a Conflict Coach.

The Institute for Leadership Dynamics GmbH (ILD) cooperates with the bbw Hochschule - University of Applied Sciences - and sets the task of strengthening the cooperation and leadership in times of digital transformation through consulting, coaching and role-based qualifications in organisations. ILD supports our clients within change processes in different business phases and topics in the national and international context. On the basis of a detailed needs analysis, exclusive profiling and the integration with specific business goals, ILD establishes proactive attitudes for its customers and develops targeted key competencies in order to increase productivity and competitiveness.

Why Conflict Coach?

Targeted application of constructive behaviour helps to resolve conflicts more effectively. It is essential to understand a pro-active attitude and the effects of emotions and behaviours.

Based on the US-developed and scientifically standardised method of the Conflict Dynamics Profile®, the aim of the training is to be able to diagnose the conflict profile of individuals and teams and, based on this, to initiate a role-based counseling or targeted coaching for the development of the conflict competence (behaviour and emotions) as a key competence of cooperation and leadership. The associated licensing entitles to the acquisition and application of the CDP method® with the CDP test procedures and development tools.

Through the international certification of the CDP method® (test procedures, development and intervention tools) you have the opportunity to enrich your consulting and coaching skills and tools. You can also apply the profiling instruments to third parties in return for payment and provide qualified feedback.

Content of the Training

The training is based on the Conflict Dynamics Profile®

Conflict competence and the active management of emotions are now considered the key competencies of collaboration and leadership in the 21st century. At ILD, we have further developed the method with the highly practical Conflict Compass®. The Conflict Dynamics Profile® (CDP) is a unique protected scientifically standardised and evidence-based testing methodology for the measurement and competence development of the 15 decisive behaviours and the management of the nine emotional hot-buttons that are most influential in a conflict. Get to know these triggers and their modes of action - and help on this basis to develop specific conflict skills and resolve conflicts.
