Student Project with Automotive Supplier Alutrim

The course "Automotive Business and Technology II" for our Master's students of the study course International Technology Transfer in the 3rd semester will conclude with an award ceremony on August 15, 2024. Prior to this, five groups presented their conceptual solutions for a task formulated by the company Alutrim in Kyritz.

Under the guidance of Prof. Dr.-Ing. Uwe Kaschka, the students had to intensively engage with a problem from the production practice of an automotive supplier over the course of two months. The focus was on working independently, coordinating within the team, and maintaining communication with the company. Throughout the process, seminars and exchanges with the instructors were held to reflect on their activities. This so-called "project-oriented learning" takes place under conditions similar to those the students will encounter later in practice. Collaboration with companies has already become a strong tradition at the university, benefiting both parties.
